Getting involved with YAD San Diego is an exciting way to meet other young professionals who share your values and interests. Join us and become part of the next generation of caring Jewish San Diegans who are making a difference in our community - and having a blast doing it!

YAD has many avenues for you to get involved.

YAD Committees & More

Social:  From planning Happy Hours, barbecues, and other social events, the Social Committee is a great way to meet people!  Help plan fun events and be part of our host committee.
Chairs –
Robin Phillips & April Angeloni

Tzedakah Ball: This is one of the largest events held for young Jews in San Diego and you can help plan it! The evening of music, dance, and drinks with hundreds of other young Jewish adults is a great way to learn about Jews around the world as well as an opportunity to bring our community together for a night of partying! Chair - Hannah Fabrikant

Couples: Tired of dragging your significant other to an event only to find out that the majority of people are single and "looking to mingle?" Help Jeff and Elena come up with fun "couples" events. Chair Jeff High & Elena Zubarevsky

Young Families: We are looking to pick up where Shalom Baby left off. Join Stacie as she comes up with family outtings, parent's night out events, and much more. Young families are part of the YAD community too. Chair Stacie Bresler-Reinstein

Clusters:

Join other young San Diego Jews who share your interests, from movies and books to wine tasting and running — and a whole lot more. Chair - Chad Rothbart

Newcomers: Join the welcoming committee for Jews new to San Diego, the Jewish community, or YAD. Help plan our bi-annual newcomer’s brunch. Chair – Jon Bell

Shabbat Connections:  Bring your friends (and meet new ones) to regional potluck Shabbat Dinners.  Be a guest or be a host. Help organize!
Chair - Brad Slavin

Ben-Gurion Society (BGS): Be a part of this dynamic group and help plan BGS-exclusive events. Members of the Ben-Gurion Society are YAD donors, who make a $1,000 gift to the United Jewish Federation's Annual Campaign. Chair - Steve Shulman

3SIXTY: A new and innovative approach to giving for the YAD generation. It's an opportunity to care for your community, connect with young Jewish San Diegans and create a global impact. Members of 3SIXTY make a $360 minimum gift to the UJF Annual Campaign.
Chairs –TBD

National Young Leadership Cabinet: The most promising young leaders between the ages of 30 and 40 are nominated by their local Federation professionals to participate in this incredible program.
