Mr. Amiel has been appointed by The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) to serve as the central address for relief operations in Haiti.

The National Ben-Gurion Society (BGS) of the United Jewish Communities was founded on the principles of David Ben-Gurion, the first Prime Minister of the State of Israel. BGS embodies Ben-Gurion's legacy; young men and women combining their power, passion and resources to build a strong and responsible Jewish community at home, in Israel, and around the world. We are those young men and women; there are over 90 of us that are members of the Ben-Gurion Society in the San Diego area.
